My original fascination with the rugs of Persia and Kazak has drifted east to China and Tibet. These art forms in wool speak stories to us in so many ways. The variations and unique beauty found in the geometric designs of China and Tibet are widely different from the rugs of other parts of the world. I purchase from a selection of Asia’s fine rug dealers and always have more inventory on hand than I should have.

My passion is 19th Century and early 20th Century rugs as they are unmatched in modern production. Every once in a while I acquire an 18 th Century piece, so if you’re a collector let me know what you’re looking for. You’ll see a nice selection of rugs and carpets from Beijing to Ningxia, to the Wangden Valley of Tibet.

A special interest in textiles has us offering a large selection of robes and other garment items. Let us know if you too are a collector interested in these fascinating products of our world’s history.
